Galdar

Cueva Madre is a historical aboriginal cave location. The name designates a group of large caves located in the Gáldar ravine. Historically the Taste was convened here, a kind of council that brought together the guayres or chiefs of the different tribes or cantons of the island along with the maximum headquarters, the Guanarteme or Guadarteme. Cueva Madre is in fact an archaeological park and a wide area where the traces of the ancient pre-Hispanic people in colonial times are spread out.
